Good out weighs the bad

I've been watching the news regarding the tornado in Joplin, MO.  It is wonderful to see the outpouring of support that has come from all over the country.  There are so many volunteers on the ground there and there have been so many donations from Missourians and actually, the entire nation.

I was upset when I heard on the news this week, that there had been luding in the area.  There are some tow services that are towing cars and then charging the people outrageous amounts to get their cars back.

Do you think the good deeds will outweigh the unthinkable acts that have recently happened?

  1. People like that are nothing more than a parasite. All the good we as people have done for Joplin undoubtedly outweighs the bad. As much as it 's terrible to see people go thru such a devastation there is plenty of beauty in witnessing the help and effort people give to complete strangers. The good will always outweigh the bad

  2. I know,I just read a story about a couple who were paying $750 before the tornado and when they lost their home renting went up to $1200 and work had to be done. Then I saw this elderly lady who was in the process of moving into an apartment prior to the tornado, then lost what she had, so when she went to finalize moving in they told her she didn't have the correct paperwork and when she brought it back the rent went up another $100. It made me so mad. I never thought Joplin would do that to its own.
